Are Jollibee foods here in the Philippines halal certified?

  • No.

But you can make sure by ordering only Jollibee chicken and fries.

  • Jollibee Gravy

  • Only because there is no certifying agency? Wrong. In Islam anything that is not Haram is Halal. Any Halal containing Haram makes Halal a Haram. I am a Christian and for me any food containing Halal and those that are mixed with Haram, though they are already Haram is and will still be considering it Halal. I will eat Kosher and not only Kosher, but definitely not Halal. I do not know if Moslems eat Kosher. There is Halal Certifying body in the Phil. I recommend Kosher instead.

  • I DID NOT SEE ANY LABEL TAG IN THE PRODUCTS OF JOLLIBEE A CERTIFICATION FOR HALAL, SO I AM NOT SURE IF ALL ITS FOODS ARE HALAL; SO WHEN I MAKE TO EAT AT JOLLIBEE, I JUST POINT OUT WHICH I THINK IT IS HALAL, OTHERWISE THERE IS ALSO A WRITTEN NOTICE THAT THIS PARTICULAR ORDER HAVE CONTAINED PORK… SOMETHING LIKE THAT..

  • Anonymous clearly has no idea what he/she is talking about.

Halal means that any meat (obviously not pork) has been cut and prepared the Islamic way. This is why restaurants have to acquire certification, because they ve obtained a Halal meat supplier and they have dedicated cooking stations for this reason. Halal meat cannot be cooked with non-Halal meat or with pork or in the same oil.

So it doesn t make sense to purchase just fries or just chicken. If the meat itself is not Halal and it s been cooked on the same station as pork or in the same oil, IT S NOT HALAL.

  • Some of the food of Jollibee is halal, some of it is haram (bacon and cheese burger). You just have to know their menu.

  • Jollibee burger is halal

  • No. Otherwise they would have merchandised this information, either via a massive campaign or with unintrusive in-store signages.

  • There is no halal certification agency in the country, so the answer is No.

  • yes , but it comes with pork
