Chewing mint leaves?!?

I’ve read that chewing plain old mint leaves helps prevent bad breath.

Firstly, is this true?

And secondly, are there any other, particularly negative, side effects?

Thanks <3

  • Yes chewing mint leaves would prevent bad breath. There are no negative side effects. On the contrary there are many positives like it would improve digestion, kill intestinal worms etc. So go ahead and enjoy your mint leaves fresh or dried.

  • Yes, it will help your bad breath, but not make your teeth any whiter or cleaner, so i would just brush your teeth with tooth paste for bad breath. No, there are no bad side affects.

  • I think I might try that lol, I have no idea but I think it would help out with your breath though.

  • Eww…sounds nasty. Bad breath can be cured with proper dental Hygeine.

  • no but the first one is true
