Does my Pontiac G6 stereo have an AUX input in the back of it? Just regualr stereo, not monsoon.?

I have a 2006 Pontiac G6 and I want to hook up my IPOD. The guy at best buy was asking if I had an AUX input on the back of my stereo (I am a cнιcκ, how in the hell am I supposed to know that!) and I am not sure if I do or not. I don't want to replace my stereo because it has my diplay on the screen (gas, mileage, oil life ect.) on it.... so.... I tried the transmitter and that thing ꜱᴜcκed!!! Need help, not a car girl here! Just want my tunes......

  • 1. join anonline pontiac club and search the forums or ask there. You'll find someone who has removed the stereo.

    1. get an aftermarket adapter for it. A unit that will plug into the factory harness to allow u to listen to the ipod and retain your controls at the wheel. just google "pontiac G6 ipod" or replace Ipod with MP3.

    2. call the dealer to see if they offer any options.

Do this before considering changing the stock radio.

  • SAAB no question. Why would you even want a car thats notmade anymore, that means parts are gona get harder to get, especially in the long run, and might get expensive because of that. and the car will very quickly depreciate. And its GM for all you know, piece of crap cars, and trust me, there is a reason why they shut pontiac down. I myself drive a 2004 Saab 9-3 sedan. I love everything about the car and if you find a good but cheap mechanic, your maintenance wont be all that much more expensive, maybe slightly more costy parts but thats really it. Saabs are very well designed/engineered swedish cars and run well/strong. The car handles well and ppl give this car good reviews. I drive the '04 model which is known to have lots of issues, especially with the electrical stuff and i dont see a problem (so far at least) the 2006 was considered a very good year for this car and i would recommend it NO DOUBT. Take the SAAB, you wont regret it, screw gm.
