I’m going back to Vegas in February and would like to dine at Mesa Grill. Is there a dress code for this restaurant?

  • Thobe- A loose, long-sleeved, ankle-length dress for men, worn in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and other countries in that region. It is similar to the djellabah, but without a hood. Summer thobes are white and made of cotton, and winter thobes can be darker and made of wool. In some countries, this garment is called a dishdasha. Tagiyah-A white knitted skull cap worn under the Ghutra. Ghutra-A square scarf, made of cotton or silk, folded in a triangle and worn over the Tagiyah. It is either all white or red and white checked. There is no significance placed on which kind the man wears. Agal-A thick, double, black cord that is worn on the top of the Ghutra to hold it in place.

  • Jackets for men, although ties are occasionally missing and I have seen a pair of jeans, and a nice dress for women. The last two times I ate there, the dining room was a bit cold. The food, of course, was wonderful.

  • I was just there in June. You should dress business casual, although I did see people there wearing jeans.

  • elegant casual
