  • 2 electrons in an Atom can have these set of three quantum numbers. They would be present in the 7p orbital. But the two electrons will be opposite in spin quantum number value.

  • Two electrons .. Because four quantities are required to specify a particular electron, N, L, M, S. And S can either be +0.5 or -0.5.. So since you specify N,L,M values, there can be a pair of electrons that can have n=7, l=1 and ml = -1.

    magnetic Q. N. = m = -1 i.e. px has 2 electrons
