which company is better for curling hair? and also, is it better to get a marcel curling iron or a spring curling iron?

Check out this website and read the user reviews that will help you in picking out the best one for you. I have never used either one but this site does carry lots of brands. And I am thinking spring is better ...but like I said, I think you will find the best answers here ....its a great site for products and styling tools ..

By mistake I purchased the curling iron Hot Shot Tools by Helen of Troy. I happen to be in TJMaxx and picked up what I thought was a "Hot Tools" 1" titanium barrel pink. The packaging was so similar that I didn't notice it wasn't plain old Hot Tools until I arrived home. After researching the company and speaking to them directly there is absolutely NO DIFFERENCE. If you purchase from Sally they are a direct distributor of the product HOT TOOLS so they have their own packaging and style #. That is why it says Hot SHOT tools Helen of Troy. The product is exactly the same. So ladies… curl on!

I've used both brands, but prefer Helen of Troy and definitely prefer the spring type, it's much easier and quicker to use.
