i need to make 20 dollars out of quarters but i dont know how many quarters i need!
it would have been quicker to use a calculator – there are 4 quarters in a dollar, that’s why they are called "quarters" because they are 25 cents – i.e. 1/4 of a dollar.
sooo, you need 4 quarters in each dollar, and 20 dollars.
20 x 4 = 80
That’s painfully easy…
I’m not even American and that’s unbelievable..
Use your quarters for gas. A gas station WILL accept $10 in quarters. Even $20. It’s not like it takes forever to count. You know cashiers are fast. A lot faster than you.

Yes you can try a bank. But many banks don’t exchange coins for bills anymore, unless they are properly wrapped in the appropriate wrapper. So, try McDonald’s or your local supermarket anyway. Nothing wrong with buying gas and paying with quarters, since it is legal tender and they have to take it unless they post a sign that they do not accept quarters which I have never seen.
Did you not take 2nd grade maths?
there are 4 quarters in 1 dollar so you would multiply that by 20
