    Thus, manipulating Density = Mass/Volume, you would get Mass = Density * Volume.

    Mass thus equals to 0.789g/cm^3 * 1000 cm^3 = 789g.

  • first thing is how many cm cubed in 1 litre. 1000 I believe as 1000cc ( cubic centimeteres)

    1000 multiplied by .789 equals 789g per cm cubed. Which sounds about right as 1 litre of water weighs 1 kg or 1000g. As ethanol will be lighter than water answer must be something less than 1000g. So 789 g it is then. Simples

    so your litre of ethanol weighs 100 X 0.789g = 798g
