How much would a regular average blanket that could keep a young child or baby warm, weigh?
I’m trying to figure it out, but I don’t have a scale
Please help, you would be really helping out a good cause.
Sadly, i do not have even a regular scale, otherwise I would do that. Thanks for the tip though
First of all a baby should not have a blanket according to safety guidelines these days. They prefer a child be appropriately dressed in clothing based on the temperature in the room.
A young child needs different weight coverings based on the climate. Winter blankets in the Northeast and a summer blanket in Arizona are very different items.
The crib size blankets that I still have that were my children’s weigh between 1 and 3 pounds depending on the material. The single bed blankets weigh between 2 and 8 pounds whether they are made of fleece, cotton, or wool.
I hope this gives you the information you are looking for.
Do you have a regular scale to weigh yourself on?
Weigh yourself, then hold the blanket and weigh yourself holding the blanket.
This will give you the weight.
it somewhat would not be counted how heavy the blanket is, the only element you could desire to rigidity approximately is that if it honestly makes the toddler heat and if it is not too massive, different than which you do no longer trouble bearing directly to the load.
