My chem prof told us 1 L = 1 dm3 = 1000 cm3 = 1000 mL … if that is true is 1 cm3 = 1 mL, why or why not? If it is true would that mean an answer of .00952 mL is also equal to .00952 cm3?
Thanks in advance!

yes, 1 mL does indeed equal 1 cm ^3. That does indeed mean that .00952 mL equals .00952 cm ^3.
You ask why one mL equals 1 cm ^3? You already went through the math.
1 L = 1000 cm ^3
1 L = 1000 mL
1000 mL = 1000 cm ^3
1 mL = 1 cm ^3
A cubic centimeter is simply making a box. The amount of liquid that can fill that box is commonly referred to as one millimeter.

Is 1 mL = 1 cm3 (that's cm cubed)?

Ml To Cm3

Think about it:
1 dm = 0.1 m = 10 cm
So cube it:
1 dm^3 = 0.001 m^3 = 1000 cm^3
But 1 L = 1000 ml by definition, or 1 ml = 0.001 L conversely.
Thus 1 ml = 0.001 of 1 dm^3 = 0.001 * (1000 cm^3) = 1 cm^3

1 ML in 1 CM3 Mass = Volume times density Volume = mass divided by density Density = Mass divided by volume. so…. 1 ML divide 1 CM 3 = 1 milileter Per CM cube. and unless u wiehged it its impossible to tel the grams

yeah , correct
1 L = 1 dm3 = 1 x 1000 cm3
then 1ml = 1 cm3
So, 1000 cm3 = 1000ml
Then, 0.00952 cm3 = 0.00952 ml

yes 1 mL = 1 cm^3
and also the relation 1 L = 1 dm^3 came out from this.
as you know volume = density/mass and 1mL of water weighs 1g and also 1cm^3 also weighs the same .this is how the relation came

Yes – you are exactly correct.
ml and cm3 are the same thing.

yes 1ml=1cm^3
