• the question is John Davis makes \$9.75 an hour. He works four hours on Monday, six hours on Tuesday, five hours on Wednesday, five hours on Thursday, and seven hours on Friday. What is his gross pay?

39+58.5+48.75+48.75+68.25=263.25

• this is stupid like out of my 3rd grade math book. and there isn’t even a question at the end. it just is a statement with a question mark. i guess if you assume he is asking what did he make in those three days the answer would be 146..25 which is not even an option. this is so stupid.

• So….where is the question???

if the question is how many \$ John Davis makes on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday the answer is 146.25 and none of yours is correct.

• Add up the number of hours. Multiply by 9.75.

Easy, right?

If you understand how to do this, you’ll always be able to do it, no matter what numbers are put in. It would serve you right if people give you the wrong answer–and, what’s sad is, you won’t know it’s wrong. Yet another reason to learn to do it yourself.

• Go to school and learn to put this in the proper catagory. For the record his pay is gross.

• Not funny
