Alan sees a tree 100m away on a bearing of 150° & at an elevation of 10°.Beta is on a bearing of 80° from alan and 33° from the tree & views the same tree at an elevation of 8°.Find; (a)height of tree. (b)how far beta is from the tree. (c)the bearing that beta will use to get to the tree[use scale 1:2000 construct a scale diagram to locate the positions of alan to beta to the tree].

  •  Alan sees a tree 100 m away on a bearing of 150° 

     & at an elevation of 10°. 

     Beta is on a bearing of 80° from Alan and 33° from  

     the tree & views the same tree at an elevation of 8°. 

     Find 

     (a) 

     the height of tree.  

     (b)  

     how far Beta is from the tree.  

     (c) the bearing that Beta will use to get to the tree 

     [use scale 1 : 2,000 construct a scale diagram  

     to locate the positions of Alan to Beta to the tree].
