Oklahoma based custom coach builder has recreated one of the best mustangs ever. In an exclusive licensing deal with Ford Motor Company, this is the first of cars. They have created a beast – 1969 Ford Mustang Mach 1 and have nicknamed it the “Hitman”. The spec as shown by Classic Recreations is the same spec of our favourite assassin – John Wick’s car.
The fact is the cars are the same model – the 1969 Ford Mustang Mach 1, and even look the same, except nothing is the same.

The body does belong to a real 1969 Mustang Mach 1 and is restored to a factory new condition. It then receives its heart an intercooled, twin-turbo Ford Coyote V8 that produces 1,000 hp. The heart is that is paired to a 6 speed manual transmission. The sound track of the vehicle is compliments to the stainless steel MagnaFlow performance mufflers.
The suspension has coilovers in the front and rear and also sway bars, good for control. To stop and slow down the power it has six-piston Wilwood callipers with slotted and cross-drilled rotors. The entire suspension and brake setup is matched with 18 inch American racing wheels wrapped with Michelin Pilot Sport 2 with wider tyres in the rear. Controlled with power steering, this gives the driver control of the vehicle at all times.

The exterior is completed with two-tone grey and black paint, a factory style Mach 1 chin spoiler, rear decklid spoiler and Mach 1 Mustang’s badges keeping it classic. I approve of this look very much.
On the inside everything is a combination of classic and modern, woodgrain aluminium steering wheel, five point seat belts, TMI mustang interior panels, a comestic rollbar, air con, JVC CD player, Kicker 5 channel amp, speakers and subwoofers along with the traditional Mach 1 interior.
The Mach 1 Hitman is a completely bespoke vehicle. Customers can get the car completed like an original 1969 Mach 1 or a restomod of it, which makes this car truly for the person it is made. I bet John Wick saw this car he would approve of it, because the Mach 1 “Hitman” is worthy of John Wick.
