What do put for “years acquainted” on a application (reference sheet section)?

Do I put the number of years I was acquainted with that person or do I put the actual years, like 2007-2008

  • You can put down whatever you want, but I wouldn’t count on being hired. An employer wants to check references to see if you are trustworthy and a hard worker. Those are things that most any employer is going to look for in a new hire. If you don’t want to put anything, that is probably your right, but it is just as much your potential employers right to pick another candidate for the position.

  • How many years you have known the person. 2007-2008 isn’t a good answer use actual years

  • Interesting topic!
