  • This phrase is in both American and British English. You can say,”I’m going to be sick!” here and people will understand that you need to vomit. Well, if you say,”I’m sick.” people will think that you’re sick and that you’re feeling ill. You might be able to say,”I’m sick.” and it be able to mean that you’re vomiting but I wouldn’t do it. All in short, just use,”I’m sick.” for when you feel ill.
