  • it means you will be taking all the merchandise from your store and stocking it up so that it can be shipped off because no ones buying it or its out dated, or you just have too much in stock.

  • Yes, it is Supply and demand. A company only has a fixed amount of stock to be offered in the public. for example, lets say Company X has 100 shares in the market. When the company does something good, such as a merger or acquisition, the demand for the stock increases, but supply of stock stays the same, shifting the price upwards. and the exact opposite is true if the company does something not desirably. Another reason for stock price drop could be due to a split. A split is when the company takes those 100 shares and says to everybody that there are not 200 shares worth at half the price. So if you owned 5 shares at 10 dollars / share, you would have 10 shares at 5 dollars per share after the split. this is once again seen using supply and demand. in this example though, demand was constant but supply shifted. causing the price to drop.

  • Seriously? It means you will be taking boxes full of crap from a truck more than likely and stocking them in a stock room.

  • Probably take stock from the very top shelf or back room and stocking the display racks in the store.
