What does observed mean on a calendar? Do I still have class?

I usually have class Mondays for my college but I checked the calendar since tomorrow is MLK day and it said MLK Day Observed . Would I have school tomorrow or is there none?

  • "Observed" means that the actual anniversary or commemorative date falls on a weekend, but schools and businesses that observe it mark it on the preceding Friday or the following Monday.

    I have no idea whether your school observes it as a holiday.
