What does -OEt abbreviated for in organic chemistry?

What is the chemical formula for this? (such as c5h6o) and what does the structure for this look like? (such as a ring or chain...)

I am working ahead on my homework, and I keep seeing this so I do not know what it stands for.

Thank you!!!

  • -OEt means ethoxy. Its structure is -O-CH2-CH3 or simply -O-C2H5.

  • Oet Organic Chemistry

Organic Chemistry is harder. Inorganic Chemistry will be high school chemistry and then some. Organic Chemistry requires a ton more commitment and hardwork if you want to do well in it.
