The molar mass of the molecule of carbon dioxide CO2 is calculated to
be CO2: 12.011 + 2(16.00) = 12.011 + 32.00 = 44.011g/mol.

look at your periodic table…. the little number’s below the symbol is the molar mass of that element… so:
12.01 + 2 (16.00) = 44.01
