Salts form from hydrogen ions and hydroxide ions in neutralization reactions.
Most salts do not dissociate when dissolved in water.
Most salts form solutions that are neutral.
Solutions of salt and water conduct electricity.
Ideally ,the salt bridge has the same anion as the two half-cells. As metal ions are deposited, the anion concentration exceeds the metal ion concentration. Likewise, additional metal ions formed in the other half-cell are not balanced by the anions. Therefore, the anion migrates from the salt bridge to the half-cell where their concentration is lower. This balances both the mass and the charge of the redox reaction.
Your simple answer would be (2).
its the last one. the 2nd one shows up as wrong for my test
